Davvero uno scatto strepitoso!
Ancora prima della luce, gestita ottimamente, vedo uno composizione molto bilanciata e ben congeniata soprattutto considerando lo spazio verticale del fotogramma. Complimenti e, se posso, una domanda: Dove caspita le trovi, cerco sempre ma in 2 anni non c'è traccia.

Even before the light, handled well, I see a very balanced and well thought out composition especially considering the vertical space of the frame. Congratulations and, if I may, a question: Where the heck to find them, but I always try in two years there is no trace.

Rispondo volentieri. Lo sfondo non è naturale ma una parete di casa. I flash sono due e sono d'accordo per la posizione di quello in controluce, troppo basso e troppo sovraesposto. Purtroppo non si pensano mai tutte. Ne ho altre sul solito posatoio con posizioni di flash diverse ma questa è la più gradevole per composizione, anche perché questi animaletti non stanno mai fermi. A Maxspin73 posso dire che in vita mia ho trovato queste mantidi solo tre volte, e sono molti anni che fotografo, e quest'anno ne ho trovate due. Non so se dalle tue parti sono presenti, credo siano più diffuse al sud e abbastanza rare qui da noi. Un saluto a tutti.
I answer willingly. The background is not natural but a house wall. The flashes are two and I agree for the position of the backlight, too low and too overexposed. Unfortunately you do not ever think all. I usually perch on other positions with different flash but this is the most pleasant in composition, because these animals are never still. A Maxspin73 I can say that in my life I found these mantises only three times, and have many years that photographer, and this year I found two. Composizione azzeccatissima, volendo ottenere un contro luce per me è giusto che empusa e posatoio siano un pò in ombra.

Vedendo il risultato mi rendo conto che al tuo posto avrei sbagliato, solo perchè avrei avuto maggior attenzione per il particolare soggetto, perdendo però una composizione super.
