Pakistan, agosto 1991. Lungo la Karakorum Highway, nel percorso che dal Pakistan ci avrebbe condotto in Cina, ci fermavamo a fare rifornimento di carburante e/o di generi alimentari. Le occasioni per scattare non mancavano ma fotografare le donne era difficilissimo (per questioni religiose, ovviamente). Questa bambina, di circa 8-9 anni non era ancora stata promessa in sposa e fu possibile fotografarla senza troppi problemi. Naturalmente non ho dati precisi sullo scatto se non la fotocamera (all'epoca avevo la Canon T90) e probabilmente l'obiettivo che, a giudicare dallo sfocato potrebbe essere stato il 300 f4 FD (ma potrei sbagliarmi e chiedo lumi agli esperti). All'epoca usavo molto la Velvia 50 e la Sensia 100. Il problema principale è stata la conversione in digitale con lo scanner Nikon Coolscan 5000ED che è un buon scanner ma non fa miracoli, perciò ho poi dovuto lavorare sul rumore e di "spuntinatura", perché l'originale mostra tutti i segni del tempo. Non so se alla fine viene fuori un effetto troppo "plasticoso" (Cit. Juza).
