La porta Trionfale, situata in mezzo alla curva sud, è realizzata in granito di Baveno e inizialmente adibita ad ingresso solenne del monarca. È conformata come arco di trionfo, con un pronao dorico e un timpano recante il bassorilievo di Gaetano Monti “La Fama che distribuisce le corone d'alloro ai vincitori”.
