Hierapolis is a Hellenistic-Roman city of Phrygia. Dominated the valley of the River Lykos on the road linking Anatolia to the Mediterranean Sea. The ruins are located today in the village of Pamukkale.

Grazie Koda!

I was there and I was able to immerse myself in the natural pools of Pamukkale obtaining a wonderful feeling. I speak several years ago and I believe that it is now forbidden to bathe in this place which is amazing especially for its location in the territory. The photo reminded me of that trip. Turkey is a beautiful country. Thanks Koda!

Ciao Clara

Pamukkale is extraordinary. I have been there qs summer. To answer Gianna ... you can immerse yourself in some beautiful natural pools, but now everything is safeguarded and protected.
Superb place. Worth the trip.
Koda, I think if I had used the polarizer the photo would have gained in saturation and then the colors would have been more "alive," However, it is a matter of taste ... I love very much saturate and then do little text. Here, in fact, I always used the polarizer.
Hello Clara

Saluti e a presto ! Koda :-P;-)

@ Gianna Orsoni: I've been there this year Gianna and I can confirm with certainty that it is still allowed to bathe. I also confirm that it is a lovely and relaxing. Will post a picture as soon as possible to the thermal baths. Gianna Thanks for the comment. Greetings Koda:-P ;-)
@ Clara: I can not give you reason Clara, the polarizer and 'a filter useful and important that it is often necessary not only to reduce glare but also to saturate and make the colors more vivid. In fact I'll tell you more, and surely I will draw some criticism here but frankly I can not care less, it would be appropriate to use at times a bit 'more the polarizer in the landscapes and avoid false color or skies with colored sunsets surreal and not at all related to reality for an excess of post-production. I'll give you my complishments for this criticism is entirely plausible and constructive, and I promise that I will treasure your advice. Greetings and see you soon! Koda:-P ;-)

moonscape if it were not for the pools of water, very impressive.
