Beautiful image of this glacier that unfortunately, as you wrote
in the caption, confirms the climate changes, caused by man, that are taking place on our planet.
Congratulations Roberto, hello!
Sergio ;-) :-P

Beautiful landscape shot of this wonder of nature, which unfortunately we are destroying with our. senseless model of life. The composition and colors are beautiful, delicate.
Congratulations nice proposal

Dear Roberto, congratulations on the beautiful photo .... but what a triestezza :-(
If I'm not mistaken, that peak in the center of the photo is Punta Cadini (3500 and broken); in 1974 (50 years ago!!), after spending the night at the rif. Branca we climbed the glacier and climbed the Cadini on the N face shown in the photo, as the final ascent of the CAI mountaineering course. I let you imagine how much the landscape and conditions have changed, and how close to the heart you try to see what it is like now.
And the Val di Peio, beyond the ridge on the E side, offers an even more lunar spectacle, because the retreat of the glacier has left only an infinite moraine.
And then there are those who still insist on denying :-/
Good photos and good mountains!
Corrado

Excellent shot Roberto who testifies to the beauty and importance of the glacier but at the same time denounces the real seriousness of climate change.
A great mandi.
Eraldo.

Thank you Corrado!
Talking to the locals, when you ask them how long it takes to get to the front of the glacier, they answer, "every year it changes because you have to chase it".
This is reality, lucky you who have seen it in its maximum splendor.
Have a nice weekend.
