Se non sbaglio, quella cima al centro della foto è la Punta Cadini (3500 e rotti); nel 1974 (50 anni fa!!), dopo aver pernottato al rif. Branca abbiamo risalito il ghiacciaio e siamo saliti sulla Cadini sulla parete N mostrata nella foto, come ascensione finale del corso CAI di alpinismo. Ti lascio immaginare quanto siano cambiati il panorama e le condizioni, e che stretta al cuore si provi a vedere come sia adesso.
E la val di Peio, al di là della cresta sul versante E, offre uno spettacolo ancor più lunare, perché il ritiro del ghiacciaio ha lasciato solo un'infinita morena.
E poi ci sono quelli che si ostinano ancora a negare
