La preparazione dell' attacco del ghepardo a un branco di impala e' stata lunghissima. Erano troppo lontani e troppa, e troppo scoperta, la distanza da coprire. Ha atteso pazientemente, nascosto da un cespuglio, che fossero loro ad avvicinarsi poi si è lanciato con una velocità e un'accelerazione tali da lasciarmi, alla fine, impreparata… Avevo immaginato che puntasse sull'animale più vicino, che qui si vede infilarsi nella vegetazione, invece mi ha sorpreso dirigendosi su uno più distante .
