Well what can I say, you're absolutely right. Here you made the most of the situation, the old pp had made the photo flat and it didn't look like a sunrise at all. Beautiful photo. ;-)

Well, I would say there is a big difference! :-D
Obviously this one is much better; I don't really like the added glow that tastes a bit "fake" but I understand that you wanted to give a boost to a somewhat flat sunrise...
I agree on the importance of the eye and composition, the only and true prerogatives of the photographer; here I wonder if it was possible to avoid overlapping or at least aligning the two promontories on the right.
Hello, Alberto.

Hi Alberto, thank you very much! Actually the glow was there on its own, I then emphasized it on this new version to enhance it a little while before I had completely flattened it.
Yes, in the composition phase today I would do it differently, I would not overlap the rock in the foreground with the mountain behind, moreover if you notice the central mountain is not really centered. But I had the camera for two weeks, I have already done a miracle probably, also because reviewing the compositions made in the rest of the trip... I feel like crying :-D

There is no doubt that post production is essential, especially for photos like this. However, you also need to have good equipment that returns workable files, if the file is bad it is difficult to come up with something good. Then of course the photographer puts his own into it, in the composition but also in the choices made in post production (contrast, color saturation, shadow recovery,..)
Nice shot.

Well in this case I had a 750d with the basic kit lens 18-55 which is practically a piece of glass :-D
