Quest'anno all'Ardia hanno partecipato due donne, beh direte cosa c'è di strano, è strano per gli abitanti di Sedilo perché almeno in passato non era ben vista la partecipazione delle donne che secondo alcuni non erano adatte, ma non perché non sapessero andare a cavallo, ma perché non avevano s'animu (grinta, audacia) per cavalcare con la determinazione necessaria per buttarsi giù nella china pietrosa alla "o la va o la spacca" e a spronare il cavallo con durezza e decisione (punghere), devo dire che è vero ma è perché le donne non hanno la cattiveria la sconsiderata arroganza e la balentia di certi uomini che corrono l'Ardia per dimostrare alla comunità il loro valore ma anche la loro risolutezza, il coraggio a volte sconfina nella temerarietà e nella messa in pericolo della propria incolumità e quella altrui compresa quella dei cavalli, comunque Elena e Giulia si sono dimostrate bravissime cavallerizze serie coraggiose e precise, per fortuna non sono state coinvolte nel brutto incidente di sabato. La loro partecipazione alla fine è stata accettata da tutti, brave.
