Dopo averne già spostato uno la leonessa torna per prendere il secondo cucciolo e trasportrlo in un altro kopjes più sicuro e dove durante la notte, ha partecipato ad un lauto banchetto. Non potendo trasportre tutte e due i cuccioli la madre ha dovuto scegliere quale trasportare lascinaod quello che, almeno apparentemente, eera quello più attivo ed intraprendente e cheè tornato a rintanarsi nella roccia dove la famiglia aveva passato glii ultimi giorni. Una volta trasportato i cucciolo, per non disturbare, ci siamo messi in disparte controllando da lontano i movimenti della madre che, evidentemente era molto affaticata ed ha preferito riposare a lungo probabilmente in attesa anche che l' aria rinfrescasse.
