Scatto eseguito dal borgo medievale Colla Micheri . informazioni copiate e incollate da internet dal luogo dove ho scattato la foto: Colla Micheri, in Provincia di Savona, è un borgo medioevale edificato sulla collina fra Laigueglia e Andora, situato lungo il tracciato dell'antica via romana Julia Augusta del 13 d.C., che lo attraversa. Il borgo è diventato famoso dai tardi anni Cinquanta del secolo scorso perché qui scelse di vivere Thor Heyerdahl. La storia narra che Heyerdahl, che non guidava l'auto, si facesse portare in giro da un tassista in varie località mediterranee e che questi, un giorno, gli chiese che cosa stesse cercando. Heyerdahl rispose che cercava un paradiso in terra e il tassista gli disse di conoscerlo, e che non occorreva andare tanto lontano per trovarlo. Lo condusse così a Colla Micheri, dove nei giorni di sole il panorama è mozzafiato: da un lato il mare sino alle coste delle isole e della Toscana e dall'altro le montagne innevate. All'epoca Colla Micheri era quasi disabitata. Heyerdahl comprò diversi edifici che via via ristrutturò, sognando di fare del borgo un luogo di pace, come per lui fu. Percorreva i boschi per tenerli puliti e contrastare gli incendi e pensava di poter un giorno riunire nella cinquecentesca torre saracena del suo parco i grandi della terra per farli meditare sulla bellezza del nostro mondo e convincerli a politiche di pace e a una attenzione per l'ecologia e la sopravvivenza del genere umano. Sulla collina, poco sotto la torre saracena, si trova il Memoriale di Heyerdahl che, da Tenerife ove viveva, era tornato a Colla Micheri per trascorrere la Pasqua. Già malato, nel suo borgo di elezione esalò l'ultimo respiro. La Norvegia gli tributò funerali di stato. Oggi a Colla Micheri vi sono alcune famiglie residenti tutto l'anno, e tra gli abitanti si annoverano Bjorn Heyerdahl, che vi risiede stabilmente, e Marian Heyerdahl, che vi passa lunghi periodi. L'estate tuttavia il paese si anima non solo per i turisti che lo visitano, ma anche per la presenza di alcune famiglie norvegesi che scelgono di passarvi alcuni periodi di vacanza. LA PACE VERDE Da buon norvegese, abituato a un paese per gran parte dell'anno senza la luce del sole e sommerso dalla neve, era appassionato per tutto ciò che apparteneva al mondo animale e soprattutto vegetale. Tutta la sua vita è stata accompagnata da un amore per la natura che non è andato che aumentando con gli anni. Già nel corso della spedizione del Ra aveva raccolto nell'Oceano Atlantico grumi di petrolio, che si possono vedere esposti al Museo Kon-Tiki di Oslo e di cui aveva dato notizia alle Nazioni Unite, esortando tale organismo internazionale a farsi interprete di politiche volte alla salvezza futura del pianeta. Nel suo stesso eremo di Colla Micheri usava percorrere i boschi per ripulire il sottobosco e riuscire a far sì che gli incendi, così frequenti in Liguria, facessero meno danni possibile.
