Pigi, you're right when you say that the edges of the wings are poorly defined, but more than missing shots I would attribute the defect to the optics. I didn't have the Sigma 180 and used the 24-140 with the extension tubes.
I've noticed that on all the shots there's this drop in sharpness at the edges.
On the other hand, everything else is sharp, including the antennae that certainly exceed the pdf of the wingtips.

Pigi, hai ragione quando dici che i bordi delle ali sono poco definiti, ma più che a scatti mancanti imputerei il difetto all'ottica. Non avevo il Sigma 180 ed ho usato il 24-140 con i tubi di prolunga.
Ho notato che su tutti gli scatti c'è questa caduta di nitidezza ai bordi.
D'altra parte tutto il resto la cento è nitido, comprese le antenne che sicuramente eccedono la pdf delle punte delle ali.
