Chiara true, it seemed the scene, staged by proloco S. Stefano di Sessanio.
Consider that in the 5 hours I hung out on the plateau, the Gran Sasso was revealed only on this occasion, I have also considered lucky :-(

Jerry Indeed, the scene evokes the myths of pastoral poetry, idyllic, too bad that lasted a moment, and the light was not that great.
Thanks for visiting :-)

a greeting

Thanks Hugh, I must honestly admit that the moment of vision of the mountain is worth the trip.

come in altri lidi alpini...

what the hell is the beautiful Gran Sasso! That charm the Apennines ... too bad that we can not preserve, protect and promote these places
as in other shores alpine ...

The Abbruzzo is a beautiful region, superb mountain but at the same time charming and welcoming, but badly exploited and kept worse. I do not know which region of Italy six but if you happen to go to Campo Imperatore, you will squeeze the heart, in a state of neglect. Note that there is a major astronomical observatory, world-renowned, is located at 2000m. and depart (unfortunately) different lifts, but you can find scrap and waste materials in every place, :-(, incredible.
Excuse my outburst, but I gather that you think like me.

Thank you for visiting
a greeting
