Exit the Scene sent on June 04, 2024 (7:20) by Alberto Dall'oglio. 16 comments, 502 views.

at 100mm, 1/15 f/16.0, ISO 50, tripod.

This is the previous photo focused on the pieces of the old bridge, here in the foreground:

It is not easy to recover and keep alive the works of the past, especially if there is no economic return, but this was true even in the old days, fortunately there are those who dedicate time and energy to preserve these small historical testimonies.
Probably not an easy composition but it succeeded perfectly.

Thank you Beppe! You looked closely: there wasn't much space to compose but I'm happy with the result, possible thanks to the high level of the river! ;-)

Congratulations, it is not easy to go down the embankment at that point, to grasp this view

Thank you Duccio! :-) I confirm that going down to that point is quite dangerous and in fact... I didn't get off! :-D
I shot from the embankment, lowering the tripod; as I wrote above, this shot is only possible thanks to the high level of the river, otherwise the old barges remain too low and to retract them like this you would have to go down the steep wall of the embankment with the risk of falling! ;-)

I know that pontoon bridge, useful and with old-fashioned charm.
Very well photographed.

Platypus, Fulvio, Bo, Pietro and Corrado, I thank you for the interest you have shown in this image of which I am satisfied because it represents a singular aspect of my land... Moreover, photographically speaking I have always had difficulty in portraying this view because of its location and vegetation: thanks to the flood I was able to make a composition that satisfies me (without rolling down the embankment! :-D ) even if the light conditions and the atmosphere were not at the top, but you can't always have everything... ;-)
