Autore: Bramante Donato Particolarità: l'abside non esiste è in realtà un'illusione ottica, una prospettiva illusoria,questo inganno prospettico è opera di Donato Bramante,, che ha fatto fronte allo spazio ridotto della chiesa per creare la finta abside che misura 97 centimetri invece di 9 metri e 70 previsti in quello che era il progetto originale. Quello che nacque come un impedimento alla diocesi che non aveva i permessi per costruire una chiesa di più ampie dimensioni si è evoluto poi in un risultato inaspettato, vero e proprio capolavoro artistico.
