Un momento di un “tsechu”, annuale e molto sentito festival a carattere popolare e religioso che, in mesi diversi, si svolge in ogni distretto del Bhutan. In questa particolare danza le maschere col teschio rappresentano il Dio della compassione e il Buddha Vajrahekura, che “abitano” i luoghi di cremazione per aiutare gli spiriti dei morti a liberarsi del corpo. Il bianco nei loro costumi rappresenta appunto purezza e distacco.
