#AuroraBorealeInItalia Ore 22 del 10 Maggio 2024 sui social network scatta un tam tam dicendo di un aurora boreale visibile perfino a Roma e di guardare in direzione NNE. Prendo lo zaino con l'attrezzatura, salgo in macchina e mi precipito fuori da Giaveno(To) in un luogo dove vi sia poco inquinamento luminoso e un orizzonte abbastanza libero. Mentre guido, guardo e sembra non vedersi nulla ma non appena scendo dalla macchina si manifesta davanti ai miei occhi questo spettacolo e rimango immediatamente ipnotizzato come i cani del film Antarctica e lo ammetto, sì, mi è scappata la lacrimuccia. Ancora adesso non so se quella fotografata è stata solo SAR o un'aurora polare vera e propria, o entrambe ma poco importa, l'incanto di quel momento mi provocherà i brividi ogni qual volta ci penserò per il resto della mia vita.
