Chiesetta particolarmente pulita, ma dato il luogo (Ortisei in Val Gardena ), i legni ben intarsiati e l'oro a finirli danno un atmosfera che sà di elegante. In mezzo alla Piazza S. Antonio nel centro storico di Ortisei, si trova una piccola chiesa, dedicata a S. Antonio di Padova. Una chiesa in questa piazza fu citata già nel 1430, la chiesa così com'è oggi fu costruita tra il 1673 e il 1676 nello stile rinascimentale. All'interno ci sono sei finestre dipinte e una rosetta di vetro dell'Ottocento. L'altare fu decorato dal pittore svizzero Melchior Paul von Deschwanden, e le statue accanto rappresentano i santi Ruprecht e Ulrico, opere dell'artista Johannes Vinatzer dell'anno 1684. I 12 dipinti a olio, che rappresentano scene della vita di S. Antonio, risalgono al Seicento.
