Una specie modello per la famiglia Cerambycidae nei nostri ambienti: questa femmina, che si riconosce per la lunghezza delle antenne, lunghe ma mai più del corpo rispetto a quanto accade del maschio, vagava nel tardo pomeriggio su una catasta di legna abbandonata, in un sottobosco di latifoglie. La diffusione di questa specie è considerata da molti in declino a causa della riduzione di habitat e di biodiversità, ma che dire... è sempre bello poter incontrare questi 'giganti' piccoli del sottobosco!
