Questa foto è stata scattata lo scorso marzo durante il mio primo viaggio in Islanda. Reynisfjara è una delle spiagge più famose e pericolose dell'Islanda. Per fortuna quel giorno il tempo era buono e la luce era perfetta. Siamo arrivati la mattina presto, forse verso le 7, e la spiaggia era quasi deserta. Mi sono preso tutto il tempo per scegliere il posto migliore dove posizionare il treppiede e la fotocamera e scegliere la composizione migliore. Il cielo si è poi dipinto con queste bellissime sfumature di viola, giallo e rosa, mentre la luce metteva in risalto i faraglioni e le splendide formazioni basaltiche sulla sinistra. All'improvviso un'onda è arrivata molto lunga sulla riva, fortunatamente non pericolosa. Sono riuscito a catturarla con una lunga esposizione, cercando di trasmettere il senso del movimento dell'acqua.
