E' fine Aprile ed e' il momento del Gallo Forcello ! Decido di andare in Arena , e' ancora presto per i corteggiamenti ma il gallo dominante la frequenta gia' . Sveglia alle 2.15 . Mi porto in quota con il trial e inizio a salire a piedi . Comincia a nevischiare . Sul sentiero c'e' la tantissima neve fatta a primavera (roba da matti) e quella fresca di questi giorni . Dopo circa un'ora raggiungo l'Arena , c'e' un sacco di neve . Sono le 4,15 e sono piazzato nel capanno . Passa il tempo ,non si sente niente , l'unico rumore e' la neve copiosa sul telo del capanno . Verso le 6.00 i primi rugolii , sono emozionato e contento . Inizio a osservare da dove arriva quel verso a me caro , lo vedo ! Con molta cautela sporgo la macchina dalla finestrella e aspetto la luce , nel frattempo un altro gallo inizia a cantare e il dominate lo segue a ruota ! Non e' ancora il momento delle azzuffate ma e' bello lo stesso . Aspetto con ansia la luce sperando che tutto non svanisca . Arriva ed inizio a scattare e riprendere . Nel frattempo il gallo fa spola tra un albero e il terreno innevato , le neve e' di un colore rosa dopo la nevicata sahariana di fine inverno , non e' il massimo ma ci accontentiamo . Passano i minuti e fortunatamente lo spettacolo va avanti .Dopo circa mezzora il dominante si allontana dietro una cunetta e lo spettacolo finisce . Il silenzio tombale cala sull' Arena, Sono congelato . La mano destra e' morta . Sono strafelice di avere assistito un'altra volta a uno dei spettacoli piu' belli che la natura ci possa regalare !!
