Sirmione, Italy. Specie: Regulus ignicapillus

Sirmione, mattinata limpida ma molto fredda, un tiepidissimo Sole mi accarezza. Una gelida brezza mi taglia la faccia. Scruto il lago ma, ahimè, non vedo molto, nel cielo vola qualche gabbiano. All'improvviso percepisco un movimento nel canneto e d'istinto mi giro, capisco che si tratta di un fiorrancino, piccolissimo folletto che allegramente scorrazza tra le canne, così decido di appostarmi...nell'istante in cui attacco l'occhio alla reflex la mia mente si svuota, sento solamente il mio cuore pulsare e il pungente profumo dell'inverno entrare dentro di me. Siamo soli, io e il mio piccolo amico, niente più Sole, niente più lago...persino la brezza è calata... Canon 1D Mark III, Canon EF 300mm f/2.8 L IS USM

Mi piace tantissimo perchè il "folletto" e ottimamente ambientato. Pensate a cosa sarebbe la fotografia naturalistica se si riducesse a dei primi piani. Una inutile attività fattibile anche allo zoo o nelle voliere di qualche allevatore.
Questa fot rappresenta a mio personalissimo parere un esempio di come dovrebbe essere interpretata la foto naturalistica, considerazioni tecniche a parte...
