Anche se a distanza ormai di alcuni giorni, e' ancora con grandissima emozione che posto alcune mie immagini dell'eclisse totale di sole avvenuta l'8 Aprile 2024 in Nord America. Dopo settimane di studio di tutorials e visione di innumerevoli video su Youtube. Dopo essere stato piu' o meno scherzosamente definito dai miei figli “il solito nerd”. Dopo aver dovuto cambiare all'ultimo minuto la destinazione dal Vermont al Maine, era arrivato finalmente il giorno dell'eclisse .... Niente a livello teorico ti puo' preparare per uno spettacolo naturale di questa portata. Tutta l'anticipazione, lo studio dei settings ideali, la costruzione dei filtri, la scelta delle strategie di scatto, i “custom modes” memorizzati in camera, sono niente di fronte all'immensita' di questa incredibile esperienza. E' uno spettacolo indescrivibile che mi ha lasciato letteralmente senza parole per svariati minuti e tuttora mi scatena grandi emozioni solo nel ricordare quei due minuti e mezzo in cui, come ha scritto uno bravo, “per la prima volta mia vita vedevo il sistema solare ......” (Tim Urban Tales From the Eclipse) Spero che i mie scatti vi piacciano e riescano quantomeno a convincervi a pianificare un viaggio per il 12 Agosto del 2026 quando la prossima totale sara' visbile in Spagna, Portogallo e Islanda. Io ci saro' di sicuro, e questa volta scattare le foto sara' qualcosa di marginale, per essere sicuro al 100% di godermi lo spettacolo in tutta la sua interezza.
