Foto presa durante una visita in occasione delle Giornate FAI di Primavera. Domenica 24 marzo 2024. 11:33. Il Grattacielo Pirelli, detto anche “Pirellone”, fu realizzato tra il 1954 e il 1960 su progetto dell'Architetto Gio Ponti con la collaborazione degli Ingegneri Pier Luigi Nervi e Arturo Danusso. All'epoca in cui l'edificio era sede della Pirelli questo atrio, accessibile da Piazza Duca d'Aosta tramite ua rampa e una vasta piattaforma, era destinato all'accoglienza dei visitatori. Nel disegno dei controsoffitti è evidente la mano di Gio Ponti, tuttavia il colore non è quello originale. Si vedano in proposito le foto nel primo post dei commenti qui sotto. I pavimenti sono rivestiti in Linoleum Pirelli il cui disegno è dello stesso Gio Ponti. Le immagini degli alberi e di un altro “Pirellone” sono dovute a gigantografie semitrasparenti applicate alle vetrate. #Grattacieli #Interni
