Tempio di Ercole e' un tempio dorico che svetta sull'antica acropoli della città di Cori, con le sue colonne praticamente intatte. Nell'89-80 a.C., quando è stato costruito, il tempio d'Ercole doveva essere uno spettacolo per gli occhi: in travertino, ricoperto di stucchi colorati, issato su un podio probabilmente rivestito di lastre di calcare, a cui si accedeva da una scalinata andata perduta.
