So much envy! A great shooting point, okay the aurora is amazing. The colors are excellent and the fact that you managed to take in the stars as well as the aurora is fantastic. Maybe the wall of snow on the right and the road on the left are too massive and I would have used a 20 mm instead of the 14 (very personal stuff, quiet is fine too). ;-)

Unfortunately (or fortunately) when we arrived at the location, the aurora was already in the sky (and would have died shortly after) and we could not reach the final destination (on a pond) due to the impassable ice floe (the one between the walls of snow). In the end, at the time, I preferred to imagine the walls and the street as a compositional invitation to the dawn in the sky to better contextualize the foreground 8-) If you follow the gallery in the next few days I'll upload more shots of the evening 8-)
