Damn it if it's compact! Is the 1st series or 2nd series model? in terms of construction is it on par with the Zuiko Pro? and how AF and stabilization coupled with the Om-1 works well?
I don't do photographic hunting anymore but a quality and compact zoom would not displease me. The Zuiko 300 F4 is starting to be too big for my taste.

First series, for me it's fine on Om1, now I use it on G9II and it has double stabilization. The 40-15O 2.8 maybe is better but shorter (at least for me who only use them for safaris). I tried the 300 that a person had down in Africa this summer, but for me too big and I don't find myself with the fixes. In my opinion on OM it would be worth trying its 100-400. Construction is a tank, the second series should have a softer ferrule.

If you look at the photos I took in Botswana, they are almost all om1+ panaleica

Nice photos congratulations. It seems to me that the quality is there. The 100-400 Oly seems to me much bigger than the Pana. Oh well, I'll think about it. I'm not in a hurry. Thanks again
