Cimitero monumentale Mirogoj (Zagabria 1876) Il cimitero monumentale Mirogoj, (significato : “dove si coltiva la pace”), si trova Zagabria ed è considerato uno dei più bei Cimiteri Monumentali d'Europa. All'interno delle sue poderose mura, riposano in pace personalità di spicco accanto ai semplici cittadini, e varie diverse religioni condividono gli spazi di questa imponente struttura, ignorando i contrasti che invece (forse) ci sono stati in vita. Purtroppo parte del colonnato principale è attualmente sottoposto a importante ristrutturazione, ma non mancano le opere d'arte che rendono questo luogo malinconico ed affascinante al tempo stesso. Un luogo sicuramente da visitare con le dovute accortezze, ed il rispetto, che un posto come questo richiede.
