Comprehensive caption of a beautiful photo. It is a real shame that so many structures in Italy have been abandoned. Hello.
Gianni :-)

That is, a ship in the middle of the mainland (moreover, I would have seen a ship of concrete and bricks badly, in the water)... It would have been interesting as a guesthouse and as a restaurant. I didn't know it existed, suggestive.

I didn't know the existence of this boat that will never see the sea.
Beautiful image and explanation that tells a story between the dream and the harsh reality of life for men who have abandoned their lands.

An important testimony of nonconformist architectural choices that did not care about rationality but were exclusive to the conceptual message desired by the designer. A similar building exists on the outskirts of Trento, the work of the architect Leo Salvotti. Unfortunately, it is in danger of disappearing due to the questionable decision of local politicians. Here is a short article from the FAI on the subject.
Appeal to save the "Nave-Arca", a civil residence of historical and architectural interest, built by the well-known Trentino architect Leo Salvotti, in Meano di Trento, from demolition. It will be replaced by a residential complex, with its volumetric expansion

Excellent work, compliementi.
bye gios ;-)
