Piante alte, pali della luce, oggetti comunque appuntiti sono spesso colpite da fulmini, per cui vanno evitati luoghi con questi soggetti vicino; i fulmini sono molto imprevedibili e possono cascare lontano dal temporale anche di parecchi chilometri, per cui quando sento il pericolo e non piove, io sto in macchina e la macchina fotografica sta fuori e scatta col temporizzatore.
