The scenery of the badlands is of great beauty, between the province of Arezzo and Romagna there are spectacular views like this, your proposal joins with the ancient fortress and the memory of Matilda of Canossa a beautiful work that gave me the opportunity to admire and understand more about the historical point ;-)
Congratulations Alessandro

An image as evocative as ever, for the historical suggestions it recalls. The shooting point is excellent and the close-up full of details is very beautiful.

A beautifully, masterfully taken photo with a wonderful story in the description. I watched Marco Bellocchio's movie "Henry IV" and Claudia Cardinale played Matilda in it. Matilda of Tuscany is a historically interesting figure, congratulations on a wonderful story

A beautiful and evocative story told in words and images. One of those photos (by the way, absolutely well done) that I like so much because they are interesting, rich in popular history and more, charm and narration. Excellent proposal indeed, congratulations Alessandro.
