After a trip to Nervi I propose this colorful bn, I know the square cut is not particularly pleasing to many, but in this case it seemed the most appropriate as it allowed me to compose on the diagonal "white" between wave and buildings and to give the right space to the sky, this cut also static contrast seems to strengthen the dynamism of the wave.
The rather high contrast reflects the light from the scene on the first floor it was illuminated by the bright light of the coming sun at sunset while the background was kept in the shadows by the thick clouds.

Taglio, composizione, viraggio in bianco e nero fenomenali... !
Mi piace!
saluti ;-)

as always you are the precursor (can you say so? wow!) compositions of innovative and experimental 8-)

for the series if it were not to have invented it!

Cutting, composition, toning black and white phenomenal ...
also this cut static contrast seems to reinforce the dynamism of the wave
I think you're the great success ... !
I love it!
greetings ;-)

Beautiful, especially the maintenance of detail despite the strong contrast. I understand the need for cutting to optimize the composition, the downside for me is that not possessing a 4/3 I have to move the image up and down and this prevents me to fully enjoy this beautiful picture:-D
Compliments rasenteranno boredom but they are inevitable, good evening.

Ottimo scatto !!! D+
Mi piace
Ciao Marco

are a staple for me always to be observed in landscapes, eclectic and innovative especially BRAVA, I agree with b / w and the square cut also because the eye is transported over the main wave.
Great shot! D +

Complimenti.

Catherine I always like your landscapes, but in this BN I like even more '. Your compositions are always excellent, the timing can give a different look depending on who seeks either calm or storm, but to me 'this BN communicates more' maybe 'cause it independent from the very modern landscaping for where the colors and saturations must be very loads. I find it more 'real, more' photography, excites me more '!

Compliments.

Grazie Emilio, Gian Luca e DanieleSorriso
Ciao.

Thanks Emilio, Gian Luca and Daniele :-)
Gian Luca, the bn always liked me too, I still have my darkroom in the garage even if after the transition to digital do not use it for years and now has become a warehouse, here on the forum at the landscape level, however, historically has never received much attention, fortunately, thanks to the commitment of some users lately things are changing and soon I hope to find time to offer a gallery devoted entirely to this type of images ;-)

Catherine thinks that I'm catching the darkroom, and the film and 'came back strongly to be part of my shots with an old Rolleiflex and a Hassy. Now I'm doing strongly groped by an optical bench to do mainly landscape and architecture. Today, these objects are located in unimaginable prices, less than a kit APS C.

Maybe 'also why I am particularly attracted by the BN, however this and your' really very nice!

Ciao Caterina,
Ermanno

Hello Catherine,
I also agree with those who preceded me on the strength of this your picture and, in particular, I find that the BN will bring out even more some details, such as the stratification of the rocks of the cliff, which make the scene even more intense .. congratulations! ;-)

Grazie EmannoSorriso

Thanks :-) Emanno
Gian Luca, in fact, the yield bn printed from film species of larger size of paper is great, occasionally seeing in some ads of used Pentax 6x7 at cheap price the temptation is (although already with my Zenza 4,5 x6 the results would be very good), but then I realize that the time to tinker with acids and basins it is very difficult to find it ;-)
A greeting.
