Terme di Caracalla/Cellomaio Dette anche di Cellomaio furono commissionate dall'Imperatore Antonino Caracalla, come atto pacificatore nei confronti dei legionari di Albano. Questi erano infatti in rivolta in seguito all'assassinio del fratello dell'Imperatore, Geta, al quale l'esercito aveva giurato la stessa fedeltà dovuta all'Imperatore. L'impianto venne trasformato in roccaforte nel Medioevo, e successivamente la struttura venne occupata da abitazioni civili; ad oggi è possibile ammirarne l'imponenza quasi nella sua interezza, sul retro della centralissima Chiesa di San Pietro. L'impianto termale è stato realizzato in opera cementizia, ricoperto da una cortina laterizia di colore rossastro, e presenta una pianta quadrangolare, sulla quale si ergono torri-contrafforti negli spigoli. Le Terme erano articolate su tre piani, il primo con funzione di sostegno alla struttura era utilizzato come ambiente di servizio; mentre gli altri due, costituiti da stanze ampie ed ariose e da finestroni sormontati da arcate, erano decorati da mosaici ed erano adibiti alle attività delle terme, quali il frigidarium, il calidarium, la palestra ed altri servizi. In alcuni locali delle terme è stato ricavato lo spazio espositivo del Museo della Seconda Legione Partica.
