In giardino ho un cactus a palla con 40 cm di diametro. Quando arriva l'inverno lo metto alla finestra in ufficio. Non mi accorsi che la mantide aveva deposto tra le spine un involucro (ooteca) contenente le uova. Qualche settimana più tardi sono nate le piccole che ho trovato in giro sul tavolo di lavoro.
