Myriam con il fratellino David, ultimi dei sette figli di Miguel e Maria Taday. Siamo nel 2006, nella comunità di Pungala', provincia del Chimborazo (Ecuador) a circa 2.800 metri di quota. Una zona impervia, poverissima, dove le comunità indigene andine sopravvivono coltivando a mano piccoli appezzamenti di terra scoscesi, allevando qualche pecora e qualche cavia che li chiamano “cui'”. Le galline le portano via i cani randagi e i rapaci . Le mucche fanno franare il paramo, il manto erboso in quota, mangiano troppo e sono un lusso che solo pochi possono permettersi. Ho seguito la famiglia di Miguel e Maria per 12 anni, i loro figli sono andati tutti a scuola. Myriam è ora mamma di una bellissima bambina. David bel giovane uomo molto interessato alle sue coetanee….
