L'espressione "come in cielo così in terra" ha radici antichissime, che affondano nella civiltà pre-cristiana. E' la sintesi del pensiero inciso sull'antica "tabula smaragdina" dal Profeta Ermete Trismegisto con la quale, secondo la cultura ellenico-egizia, enunciava il principio della corrispondenza. Sulla scia di quell'ermetismo, ambisco talvolta consapevolmente e talvolta casualmente, a cogliere il filo conduttore che lega in molti modi il cielo alla terra, per fissarlo in fotografia, tentando di compiere quel "miracolo della cosa unica". La ricerca forse irraggiungibile dell'alchimia perfetta tra cielo e terra, tra umano e Divino. Lo startrail che propongo è composto da un'ora complessiva di lunghe esposizioni, dove le tracce lasciate dalle stelle, esattamente dopo un'ora di rotazione terrestre, trovano la loro corrispondenza nella figura della rotoballa, alla quale mi sono infine adagiato in silenziosa contemplazione. *Curiosità: La scia dritta in basso è stata tracciata dal passaggio della ISS, avvenuto proprio durante le 76 pose da 45".
