Questa piazza è un'ode allo spirito caraibico coloniale che disperde calore e vita di giorno e di notte. Dopo i colori variopinti del giardino tra i quali emerge il giallo, la Piazza in ciottolato ha gli edifici di color azzurro, di giorno viene utilizzata dai ragazzini giocandoci a calcio, chi a piedi nudi ed i più fortunati con scarpette da ginnastica. Nel tardo pomeriggio inizia la movida e si può sorseggiare un bel cocktail in uno dei tanti localini che si affacciano nella Piazza. La sera si trasforma in un locale all'aperto, con ballerini locali e turisti improvvisati, il tutto a suon di musica caraibica dal vivo, il ritrovo, sulla scalinata centrale in salita, con il palco fisso e tanta Salsa per tutta la notte. P.S. le immagini della Piazza risalgono al maggio 2022 alla riapertura del Covid a Cuba, purtroppo i turisti erano veramente pochi. L'immagine della Scalinata della musica risale al 2017 ed il turismo era al suo culmine fino ai primi mesi del 2020.
