It looks like the Earth of an ancient geological era, it is curious that the moss that covers the lava field looks like solidified lava itself.
Good job.

An out-of-the-ordinary landscape, really well studied the pdr that focuses the attention on the front of the image and then shifts the gaze to the bottom. Well done :-)

I was immediately fascinated by the Icelandic territory, the colors, the moss with its colorful lichens the period in which I was born was full, the planet Mars :-)
Congratulations, hello

Thank you Beppe, Germano, Giancarlo and Donatella for enjoying this shot! :-)
I love the "musky" lava fields in Iceland, they are fascinating but difficult to render well in photography! Here I am happy with the result I obtained, with the rift guiding the gaze towards the motionless and silent volcanoes in the background...

Excellent shooting point that gives the right emphasis to the lava soil covered with moss; I like the rift that guides the viewer's eye to the volcanoes in the background.
Congratulations Alberto, hello
Elisabetta :-)

Aware that I am the only voice out of the chorus, composition does not work for me.
The line of the split leads to the upper left corner unbalancing all the weight on that side. a square cut would balance everything but I know that for many it is rather indigestible so I don't insist further :-P

Thank you Elizabeth, for visiting and reading this image! Glad you liked it! :-)

Simo, as I told you by message, your proposal is there and has a precise foundation and I thank you for expressing your opinion "out of the chorus"! ;-) The rift is what struck me in this scene and I tried to position it diagonally to capture its extension as much as possible: it guides my gaze towards the bottom and is lost in those volcanic mountains. It also works in square format, it's balanced but a bit too "compressed" for me; I'm definitely spoiled by the real scene and the original format that allowed me to shoot it more broadly. ;-)
Hello, Alberto.
