Rupicola peruvianus ssp. sanguinolentus, Andean cock of the rock. L'attività dei galletti (gruppi di 6-7 maschi) nei cosiddetti lek, inizia prima dell'alba. Per raggiungerli ho percorso la discesa sino a valle quando era ancora buio. (Peggio ancora è stata la ripida risalita di un'ora al ritorno) L'attività dei maschi dura una ventina di minuti. La luce, è quella prima dell'alba, in fondo alla gola della montagna, in una giornata molto grigia. Dalla foto non sembrerebbe, ma vi assicuro che le condizioni di ripresa sono state al limite, quasi al buio. Mi ritengo molto fortunato riguardo il punto senza troppi elementi di disturbo dove si è posato questo soggetto……Monopiede
