La mia passione inizia fin da piccolo, all'età di circa sei anni attraverso mio padre che mi portava su sui monti. Mi perdevo dentro i vasti boschi delle Madonie ed ero sempre curioso di scoprire quali piante e animali aveva il nostro territorio. Una volta cresciuto, facevo in solitaria delle passeggiate naturalistiche, dove scoprivo giorno dopo giorno la vasta flora, la fauna e il regno dei funghi guidato dal mio grande amico. Così ho pensato, ma perché attraverso una macchina fotografica non catturo questi momenti per poi mostrarli alle persone. Passo dopo passo, ho iniziato a raccogliere dati, ma sopratutto attimi che diventano immortali, permettendomi di mettere in evidenza il territorio, ma principalmente studiarlo, conoscerlo e immortalarlo in tutte le sue sfumature. Per me la montagna, è la mia prima casa, perché facendoci caso passo più tempo lì che a casa mia. Lo vivo quotidianamente, conoscendolo in tutte le sue trasformazioni e i paesaggi variabili. Panorami che mi lasciano incantati. Attraverso tele-obiettivi vado sempre alla ricerca di nuovi scenari, incontrando diversi animali per esempio ( il gatto selvatico, la Parnassius apollo, l'aquila reale ecc ecc..) Li seguo a distanza, l'adrenalina è tanta. Mi capita spesso di stare appostato anche mezza giornata ma poi la tenacia ripaga sempre. Ad ogni mio scatto, non vi dico quante ore e ore di lavoro ci sono ma sopratutto racconta un'avventura sempre diversa e mai uguale. Il mio obiettivo è quello di far conoscere questi meravigliosi luoghi, mettendo in mostra attraverso la fotografia il potenziale che possiedono.
