Pietralata Golden Hour, Rome, 2011 sent on January 10, 2024 (1:03) by Claudio Ricci. 15 comments, 251 views. [retina]

at 135mm, 1/160 f/8.0, ISO 1600, hand held. Roma, Italy.

Interesting colors and a beautiful beam of light illuminating a portion of the buildings.
I always find a 0 km shot very interesting.

For Ivan Costa: a terrible lens! Dark, not stabilized, quite soft at some focal lengths and apertures, and with a great vignetting... they were certainly not the excellent Tamrons of today. I had taken it used for two pennies but then gave it away early.

For Franco: I don't deserve so much honor!
Thank you very much and a hug.

your image makes even pietralata look beautiful :-) But joking aside, it seems to have been taken from Via Achille Tedeschi, I recognize the first building and at the bottom the shacks of the 'Smorzo'.
p.s. for non-Romans, in Rome the 'smorzo' is a supplier of building materials :-)
