Normalmente staziona vicino alla femmina in un grande nido artificiale, dentro una voliera di dimensioni abbastanza ampie (ma che diventa improvvisamente piccola quando apre le ali)
Ogni tanto scende a terra per mangiare o bere e allora da una certa angolazione si riesce a togliere di mezzo pali e reti metalliche di recinzione.
Credo che in molti manuali di ornitologia ci sia il suo ritratto: in natura suppongo sia impossibile fotografarlo così, a tre metri di distanza... |
