13.08.2023 Sembra che questa specie stia avvicinandosi all'estinzione, molti Baobab millenari stanno morendo, probabilmente a causa dei cambianti del clima. Questo albero, simbolo dell'Africa, predilige terreno estremamente secchi senza ristagno di acqua; chi va per safari avrà notato come i Baobab crescono solitamente all'apice di promontori, anche piccoli, proprio per evitare l'eccessivo apporto di acqua. Un albero straordinario, il mio albero preferito :-)
