Ogni anno a giugno viene celebrato ad Arsoli (Roma) il Palio dell'Amico, in memoria del capitano di ventura Amico della famiglia dei Passamonti, signori di Arsoli nel XVI secolo. Amico d'Arsoli, combattendo al soldo del Comune di Firenze contro le truppe dell'imperatore Carlo V, alleato di papa Clemente VII, che intendeva conferire la signoria fiorentina al nipote Alessandro de' Medici, fu sconfitto e fatto prigioniero nella battaglia di Gavinana (agosto 1530). Fu poi assassinato da Marzio Colonna per vendicare il cugino Scipione Colonna, ucciso in battaglia due anni prima da Amico d'Arsoli.
