at 35mm, 1/160 f/3.5, ISO 320, hand held. Sigiriya, Sri Lanka.

Remarkable... let's say that that meat should be eaten WELL cooked (and I don't dare think of the legions of flies that will perch on it and lay eggs... it's hot all year round). They are justifiably very proud, and will have a gut microbiota that could allow them to eat it raw (but perhaps they are not at risk).

Hi Claudio, I can assure you that this is one of the scenes with the greatest attention to hygiene.
I'm seeing (because I'm still in Sri Lanka) unimaginable things, at least for us. Not even the
most touristy, clean, luxurious, restaurant or hotel would pass an inspection of the Italian Nas, even if they were blindfolded.
But after all, if I had expected to find in Sri Lanka what I would have found in Italy, what would I have done there? I
hope I've conjugated the verbs well because I haven't spoken Italian for a month and I'm dead tired.
Thank you for taking some of your time to pay attention to my photos ????

I understand. I can't and I don't want to go to those countries for an even simpler reason: the heat. I can't stand it... It's already too much here, I would never go to a place where it does even more, very sultry and all year round.
As for the hygienic conditions, I think that within a day I would be seized by such dysentery that it would ruin my holiday precluding any possibility of photographic outcome.
Greetings.
C.

At the intestinal level, neither I nor any of the Western people I have met have reported any problems to me. The last days of the trip I caught scabies on the other hand, it was terrible.
The photographic possibility is precluded by the environment, I would have liked to take a thousand photos with more interesting situations but the people in these places constantly chase you yelling at you to sell them their unsolicited services, you can do almost nothing without being harassed every moment especially by "Guides" or "drivers" or other categories of sellers.
I'd like to know how great photographers do their portraits when they find themselves in front of people who constantly want to sell you something
