È passato un'altro anno solare e per salutare tutti voi amici juzini vi regalo questo curioso scatto del baccello del fiore di loto, la sua fioritura è di grande bellezza ma la longevità è di pochi giorni, ma ha una forte simbologia. Le piante cominciano a fiorire verso la fine di aprile e continuano fino alla fine di settembre. Il fiore della ninfea, quasi sempre profumato, dura 3 giorni (fiori di altre varietà durano più a lungo). Il fiore di loto è un simbolo molto antico, nell'antico Egitto era associato alla rinascita mentre per il Buddismo è un simbolo di buon auspicio, rappresenta la purezza e la capacità di mantenere la propria bellezza in mezzo al fango dove il fiore di loto nasce e vive, rappresenta anche la purezza divina.

Una volta testati in laboratorio, si scoprì che quei semi avevano fra i 1.000 e i 1.300 anni. Analisi al radiocarbonio successive mostrarono invece che i semi trovati avevano più di 2.000 anni. Grazie alle cure del professor Ichirga uno dei tre semi riuscì a germogliare di nuovo, riportando in vita il fiore più antico del mondo.
Il baccello del fiore di loto è tanto particolare quanto il resto degli elementi che compongono questa insolita ed affascinante pianta.
