Gonepteryx rhamni, (Linné, 1758) - Famiglia Pieridae - Sottofamiglia Coliadinae - Apertura alare: Da 5,5 a 6 cm.

Harder and harder..... You have been able to obtain in this free hand of yours a good image with a valid sharpness on a subject in activity where its spirotromba is proudly displayed.

This butterfly is beautiful in my area, now very rare.
The thing I like the most is the unrolled spirotromba

Beautiful! An incredible detail, Fabrizio :-o it fills the screen and proves (as if it were needed) that you don't need to have the latest 60mb ML to take an excellent photo...

Thanks again to everyone for appreciating this shot from 2014, even with the old 50D, as Casciano says you could take beautiful photos. Best regards, hello Fabrizio.

Once again you demonstrate your excellent skills in filming these wonderful lepidoptera, confirming your overt interest in this order of insects. It should also be emphasized that your shots are taken in full activity of the subject and handheld with all the difficulties that this type of shooting entails. Sharpness and maf at the top. Well done Fabrizio.
I renew my best wishes for a fruitful 2024.
bye gios ;-)
