A governarli con maestria ci sono pescatori che, ogni giorno puntualmente, animano il ponte di Galata. Stanno assiepati sui parapetti sorseggiando tè bollente, incuranti del vento incessante e dei sussulti della struttura che trema scossa dal traffico cittadino. Attendono fiduciosi l'abboccata giusta che dia luogo alla cattura eccezionale. Hanno uno sguardo assorto e paziente, frutto di innumerevoli giornate identiche, spese in quello stesso luogo, intenti alla loro antica arte, chi per passatempo, chi per lavoro, chi per sopravvivere.
