Orco marino dagli occhiali (primo avvistamento della storia in Svizzera). La notizia rimbalza su tutti i social e soprattutto sui canali degli appassionati di birdwatching e ornitologia in Svizzera lunedì 20 novembre: un uccello mai avvistato prima è arrivato sul Lago di Ginevra. Si tratta di un esemplare di maschio di orco marino dagli occhiali (Melanitta perspicillata), una grande anatra marina che nidifica in Canada e in Alaska. Si tratta di un avvistamento storico, poiché è la prima volta che questa anatra viene avvistata in Svizzera! Questo abitante dell'Artico si riproduce nell'estremo Nord americano e le sue visite in Europa sono eccezionali. Gli ornitologi ritengono che la ragione di questa visita sia da ricercarsi nelle tempeste che hanno colpito l'Atlantico nelle scorse settimane, che hanno contribuito a portare fuori rotta questo esemplare.
