Un altro ospite del quasi metro quadro di menta in giardino, naturalmente in qualche maniera un insetto nocivo: le larve sono infatti dei parassiti delle piante di geranio, piuttosto temute in serre e vivai (noi gerani non ne abbiamo). Di origine sud-africana è apparsa in Europa a Maiorca nel 1990 in seguito a scambi commerciali, per poi diffondersi in tutta l'Europa continentale. Impressioni consigli e critiche sempre benvenute.
