1/200 f/8.0, ISO 200, hand held.

'drone' view :-) of the 'wall' of 93 meters in height of the weir. At the top, the length is 230 meters

here the most conventional view:

Beautiful and intense panorama, excellent composition and excellent management of colors and reflections.
Congratulations Fabio.
Good WE
Franco
(PS the photo from the drone, in my opinion, detracts a lot from the beauty of the view, but it's just my humble opinion and so take it with all due caution)

Franco I put the 'drone' view which drone is not :-) It is in fact a handheld shot to show what was built at the time and the height of the work that revolutionized the area, once rural, essentially putting an end to the economy of the valley in addition to the now submerged sanctuary.

In fact, there was something that I didn't understand, but mind you, mine was not a criticism, it was just a very modest comparison between the published photo, for me really beautiful, and the one you defined by the drone, which I could not connect with the first one.
Anyway again congratulations.

The photo is beautiful, enlivened and softened by autumn colors.
Sad, in my opinion, is the caption that tells, once again, the carelessness with which the destinies of places and people are decided.
Happy Sunday, Fabio.

The photo is excellent, with the pleasant autumn chromatic veins and the beautiful reflections. It is interesting to read its content and history.
Bravo and congratulations

Your views of this artificial lake are beautiful, enhanced by the optical quality of the lens used and the story in the caption ;-) The placid quiet autumn atmosphere of the main photo is pleasant, even if I'm crazy about the "drone" view (which almost makes me dizzy) ;-)

@Carlo. Thank you, even if the colors are not yet those of late autumn, the light in my opinion was very beautiful and everything deserved a shot. The optics have returned, together with the excellent oly quality, a jpeg with natural colors and saturated just the right amount. The vario elmar is balanced and constant in its performance.
The "drone" view scares me too and I've been going through it since I was born :-D

A vision and colors that I have never been able to grasp at the Jump.
Excellent historical and photographic document, a bit sad at the end. But the show must go on ...
Much health and happiness dear Fabio

@Paolo. I don't particularly like extreme saturations in landscapes, in fact in the long run I find them tiring, although I must admit that they are very impressive compared to more natural colors. But that's just my opinion.
@Renni. So it went.' And now the history of the places lies more in that concrete than in the people, those who remember what was before are no longer there. Those were years in which the economic/political/institutional project responded to that model, the rest counted for little. They only saved the chapel of the monastery by bringing to the new village piece by piece and, thinking about it, it was already a lot compared to what we feel today!
